Miley Cyrus "Can't Be Tamed," but she's hoping the Interwebz can be. The 20-year-old pop star hopped on Twitter Sunday to address her haters, specifically calling out the fans of two friends, Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez.

"Everyday someone with a Swift or Gomez in [their] name wishes terrible things upon me (death is popular)," she wrote, noting that her fans sometimes act "cray cray" too. Miley clarified that being a fan of anybody does not mean hating on his or her peers, Tweeting, "Please Smilers don't ever think somehow you are supporting me by being hateful towards other artists. My fans make me proud by supporting my music & everything I do."

According to MTV's anti-bullying campaign, A Thin Line, Miley's not alone. 17% of young people have been threatened or manipulated online or via text. A digital bully is anyone who sexts, spies, harasses, or even just messages you against your will. Some bullies can be done away with simply by ignoring them, but if you or someone you know feels seriously threatened, report it to an adult.

Miley made sure to end on a positive note, saying, "Im sure these haters would make their idols much happier tweeting bout their music rather than wishing death upon their peers ... We are all friends. Why can't you all be?"
