October is National Bullying Prevention Month, and what better way to kick it off than by attending Stand Up to Cyberbullying, an interactive town hall event presented by A THIN LINE, Yahoo! Safely, and Common Sense Media, on October 18th? The event will be moderated by MTV correspondent SuChin Pak and will feature teens, parents, and teachers coming together to celebrate young people who have taken action to end cyberbullying. Know someone who got past their digital drama? Show them some love by bringing them to the event! Need a little inspiration to handle yours? There will plenty of that and more, so be sure to tune in!
If you are in the Chicago area you can RSVP to attend the event (you might even win an iPad- just sayin’!) Too far away? No worries! Your cyber self can get in on the action by watching it online. We’d love to hear how you’re taking action to end digital drama. Share the ways you’re taking a stand here.
